Events: Incidental opens for Days of the New
Local band Incidental, who is currently recording their 8 song EP Fill in the Blank at Tallcat Studios, recently opened up for 90’s alternative rock band Days of the New at the Green Room in Flagstaff Arizona. The concert was hosted by Gweedo Productions, and was also sponsored by E-Concert Live. Local Phoenix band Property Six Also performed as well. Check out some of the Photos.
Incidental is a Phoenix rock band delivering a high energy explosion of sound reverberating between the brain and what used to be your ear drum. Founded by Matthew Rodgerson in 1999, he found peace and artistic expression in playing rowdy punk rock and metal riffs with several different local players in Phoenix. H.B. Ables (Beyond The Now), co producer of their album “Fill in the Blank” was a simple choice for bass and final addition drummer Tim Veith from Two Rivers, Wisconsin later the same year. They are ready to release their 8 song EP (Recorded @ Tallcat Productions, PHX,AZ) and continue to leave audiences buzzed, confused and possibly needing medical attention.

4 Go Daddy girls. I’m sure you’ve seen some if not all of the Go Daddy TV and Internet commercials. As you can tell, most of their commercials have some type of sex appeal. So, the ideal candidates should be comfortable in swim suits and with potential sexy situations (if that’s the right word to use). There will be no nudity.

Michael Rogan recorded his latest album “Dead Reckoning” at TallCat Studios. Tom Whiting, co/owner and session drummer, is featured on drums, and Rebecca Martos, vocalist/ media artist, also provided vocal accompaniment. Two of the songs off the album have been picked up for a movie soundtrack. Please read what Michael has to say about his latest success and his experience at Tallcat Studios.
My name is Michael F. Rogan, after 22 years of playing and touring in different heavy rock bands based in Manhattan & Brooklyn I had had enough. The drinking, the drugs and the grind of living in New York City trying to make it as a musician can kill you fast or slow. I had gone through Arizona on tour in the early 90’s and I had blurry memories of its beautiful mountains and deserts. I moved to Phoenix just like that, snap, got an apartment online sight unseen and moved with my newlywed wife and 3-month-old son. I immediately started calling producers to try to get a lay of the land. I started playing at open mics and got a really positive response. People really could relate to my new sound. When I called Phoenix Recording, I met C.T. Aletniq who listened to some of my music. He called me right back and told me I really did have something to work with and we immediately set up a meeting. I was then lucky enough to find an investor who also believed in the music. I immediately called C.T. and told him I had the capital to book any studio we wanted. He said he knew a guy who not only co-owned a studio
but was also the best session drummer he’d ever worked with. That was Tom Whiting @ Tallcat Studios in Phoenix. Tom, HB, and the crew they had there were totally professional, accommodating and Tom did indeed turn out to be one of the best drummers, and all around nicest guys I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Now the songs” White Knuckles” and” Wake The Dead” are being put into a horror movie from Triad Pictures called” Grotto”.” White Knuckles” is a haunting song of survival and change featuring Tallcat session vocalist, Rebecca Martos, on backing vocals and can be heard at deadreckoningmusic.com For info on the movie” Grotto” check out The Triad Pictures Experience on Blog Talk Radio.
